Thomas Constantine Fantis was born in New York on June 1917. After WWII, Tommy moved to Miami becoming

the pioneer in Barbecue by opening Original Uncle

Toms BBQ in 1948.

The Fantis family served the public with authentic BBQ, great service and made everyone feel at home. "Tommy" as his customers called him, created a world famous sauce that to date could not be duplicated. With help from his family, we have vowed to bring that sauce and authentic BBQ back. Our motto is "Taking it Back 73 Years!".
